We've enjoyed some incredible storytellers, sharing adventures of all kinds. The community of the people that come to these events have their own adventures in the UK and further a field with groups heading to Japan and Slovenia as well adventures around the UK. 

Our Story

The Beginning

Adventure Stories was started by Richard Matthews back in 2018 when things were less chaotic in the world. Covid put everything on pause. 

Now we're back better to build a community of people who want to discover the outdoors which is the whole purpose of this, oh and that to have a good laugh along the way

Community 

​Adventure Stories, is described as a community of people who are interested in the outdoors, stories and adventure. Our speakers reflect this, with stories from the outdoors and adventure of any kind and any size. If it's a story from the outdoors or an adventure we all want to know about it.

Local

​We aim to bring in local speakers, if we can, for your listening pleasure and learning. Our events are not just about hearing awesome stories. We would like people to meet with like minded people to, nurture their adventurous spirit with opportunities, to learn and train with outdoor professionals.
